Short Description
SIDRA INTERSECTION Introductory Workshop is offered for people with no knowledge of
SIDRA INTERSECTION. This one-day beginner-level workshop will focus on the use of the basic aspects of the SIDRA INTERSECTION software including general aspects of the user interface, input data entry and a reasonable level of output familiarity.
The presenters of this training workshop (
Dr Rahmi Akçelik and Mark Besley) are developers of the SIDRA INTERSECTION software.
The participants will receive
a certificate confirming their participation in the workshop signed by the presenters.
The workshop will cover
all types of intersections including traffic signals, roundabouts, and sign-controlled (stop and give-way) intersections and an introduction to
network analysis using the lane based SIDRA INTERSECTION network model.
All workshop material and presentation will be
in English.
